DEBURRING
The latest MODEL 131-EC is an all in 1 PASS deburrer...cutting labour and tool costs & time by 90%
Summary
Three problems arise from cnc nibbling with a parting tool: Burr on the bottom side, pips, nibs, and microjoints on the middle edge, and tool deformation marks on the top side. Notice that the chamfers are not sanded off, they are cut off. You don't drill a hole in sheet metal, instead you punch it. You don't saw sheet metal, you shear it. Why should you waste money on many many sanding belts to remove burr and tool deformation?
The Model 131E and 121E D-Bur-r will deburr the straight outside sheared or nibbled edge of sheet metal whether the burr is up or down. Additionally the newer improved model 131E has an abrasive wheel to remove the unsightly CNC punched nibble marks from the 90 degree edge of the sheet.
To operate the machine the operator holds the work piece against the back guide at the right side of the front of the machine, then quickly slides the work piece to the left until it passes the abrasive wheel (131E) and enters the first of two sets of feed rollers, which then draw the material into the machine and past the two cutting blades for removal of the top and bottom burr. The first stage removes the bottom burr and the second stage removes the top burr, at a speed of 20 meters per minute.
